Our Team
Cheri
Dental Assistant
I have been a dental assistant in this area for twenty-seven years. Each day brings many rewards from working with our patients. My goal is to make patients feel at home while here.
When I’m not working, I like to be outside with my horses riding. My husband and I have two grown kids, and a beautiful granddaughter.
Julie
Dental Assistant
I have lived in Yakima for most of my life and have fourteen years of experience as a Dental Assistant. I recently joined Dr. Moore’s staff after stepping away from the dental field for 18 years to raise a family. I’m enjoying getting to know our patients and developing relationships with them as well as supporting our staff.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I are busy keeping up with our three kids, usually at school or sports events. It’s been great to be back in the dental field and to be part of such a caring office.
Erika
Dental Assistant
Born and raised in Yakima, I’m proud to now call the Gleed/Naches area home, where my husband and I are raising our beautiful family. I have been a Registered Dental Assistant for over 20 years in this amazing valley and truly love what I do, remaining passionate about providing exceptional care to every patient I meet. My goal is to ensure each visit is comfortable, personalized, and unlike any other dental experience you’ve had. For me, it’s not just about a procedure, it’s also a chance to know you on a more personal level.
Outside of the office you will find me enjoying time with family and friends, coaching out on the ballfields and staying involved in kids’ busy activities. My husband and I have four beautiful children, five grandbabies and a farm of animals. We love anything outdoors or activities that will create lasting memories with our family.
Lexi
Dental Hygienist
I was born and raised in the Yakima Valley, and graduated from Yakima Valley College. I have worked for Moore Family Dental for four years, and I am passionate about providing gentle, comfortable, and personalized care to each of my patients.
Outside of work I enjoy traveling with my fiancé and spending time with our two German Shepards, Jax and Kona.
Mary
Dental Hygienist
Since 1983, I’ve been working as a dedicated dental hygienist. I take great pride in my work, both as an individual and as part of an integrated team. Relationships built on trust are the foundation of my success, my team’s success, and the well-being of our patients. Anyone who sits in my chair will know their health is paramount because they will receive the very best in self-care education and preventative dental treatment.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking and being with my family. I have a wonderful husband, two amazing sons (and daughters-in-law), and three grandchildren. My boys are both accomplished men: one works for UW Medicine and the other is currently serving our country.
Allison
Dental Hygienist
I have been with the office for over twenty years, originally starting with Dr. Tomas Holbrook. I not only value my patients’ dental needs but feel blessed to be able to share in many patients’ personal lives as well. Over the years, I have developed trust and friendships that have become very dear to me.
I am the proud mother and stepmother of three teenagers and am currently navigating this challenging and rewarding time in my life. I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with loved ones, and look forward to many more years of serving the dental community and growing relationships with my patients!
Shaan
Office Manager
For the past forty-plus years I have had the opportunity to work in both the clinical and administrative areas of the dental office. Each day I look forward to coming to work and striving to provide quality care and service to you. It is very rewarding to me to help you figure out the best treatment plan for you and how to achieve it within your budget. I will treat you like I would want to be treated. I’m grateful to work alongside Dr. Moore’s incredible team of motivated professionals who are dedicated to excellence and continuing self-improvement.
I enjoy spending time doing DIY projects around our home, or enjoying the great outdoors with my husband, daughter, and four-legged son.
Chelle
Front Desk
With over 30 years working in dental administration I enjoy providing support to both patients and the dental team. I look forward to work each day. Dr. Moore and my teammates are a fun group of dedicated professionals that really care about each and every patient that walks through the door.
My time away from the office is spent watching grandbabies, boating, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Front Desk
Only since January 2025 have I worked as a Patient Care Coordinator for Moore Family Dental and in that time I’ve discovered a workplace where I feel as though I truly belong. The culture of Dr. Moore’s practice is one in which everyone—employees and patients alike—can feel respected, protected, and supported. I have total trust in Dr. Moore and his team.
In my personal life, I’ve been married since 2017 to my wildly talented, one-in-a-million wife, Nicole. She is the owner/operator of The Improv Connection; teaching youth, adults, and elders in the wonderful ways of improvisational theatre. Nicole and I are also the founding members of the Yakima Improv Society, performing live shows in the Glenwood Square Theater. Despite all this to-do, our adult cat, Raymond, remains thoroughly unimpressed. And hungry.
