For the next step, Dr. Moore obtains impressions of your upper and lower jaws with dental putty. Alternatively, he may scan your mouth for the impressions he needs. The impressions then go to our dental laboratory. You can expect to see a wax model of your final dentures within a few weeks.

Dr. Moore uses the wax model to determine the proper fit for your permanent dentures. You can select the shade and shape of your final replacement teeth before moving onto the final fitting. The purpose of fitting your jaws with a wax mold is to allow Dr. Moore to adjust the permanent model if needed. A receptionist from Moore Family Dentistry will contact you to schedule a final fitting after our laboratory returns your permanent dentures.
